After a career in Public Service, I trained as a yoga teacher, human remedial massage therapist, and Thai massage therapist.I have been treating humans for 9 years.
A lifelong dog lover, I have had a number of rescue dogs as pets and have experience of living with a working Service dog. I have also previously volunteered for a number of dog charities.
My interest in dog well-being has never left me. So I transferred my human therapy skills and experience to dogs, by qualifying as a canine massage therapist with The College of Animal Physiotherapy, accredited by UK Rural Skills.
I am a Member of the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT) and a Canine Arthritis Management Advocate (CAM Level 1).
As a professional massage therapist, I undertake a minimum of 25 hours of Continuing Professional Development, per year.
I am fully insured as a Canine Massage Therapist treating dogs with muscular pain, tension and myofascial restriction. This non invasive therapy can support the healthy movement and overall well-being of your dog, whether they are recovering from injury, surgery or dealing with chronic conditions.
I take a positive and sensitive approach, appreciating that every dog is an individual.
